Terms of Use

1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of BlueAtlas™, a digital dive logbook published by BLUE ATLAS (see the legal notice for the full editor identity), on the iOS app and on blueatlas.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use BlueAtlas™.

2. Service description

BlueAtlas™ lets you import, store, and view dive profiles, attach photos and videos, and share them. Some features are limited on free accounts and fully unlocked by the BlueAtlas™ PRO subscription described below.

3. User account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for the accuracy of the information you provide. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account (see the privacy policy).

4. BlueAtlas™ PRO subscription

BlueAtlas™ PRO is an auto-renewable subscription, purchased exclusively from the mobile app, through the account of the store that delivered it to you — Apple's App Store on iOS, Google Play on Android — offered in two plans:

The subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, it automatically converts into a paid subscription and the price of the selected plan is charged. The subscription then renews automatically at each billing period (monthly or yearly), at the then-current price, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date, as required by both the App Store and Google Play.

The exact price (localized to your currency and including applicable taxes, where relevant) is always shown before purchase, on the app's subscription screen.

Billing, renewal, and refunds are subject to the billing terms and policies of the store you subscribed through. To cancel: on iOS, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Play Store → profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; BlueAtlas™ does not issue pro-rata refunds — refunds are governed by that store's policy.

We may change plan pricing for new subscribers; for an existing subscriber, any price increase will be notified in advance in accordance with that store's rules, and you will be able to cancel before it takes effect.

5. User content

You retain exclusive ownership of the files, photos, videos, and annotations you upload. You grant us a limited license, strictly necessary to operate the service (storage, processing, display, sharing that you trigger yourself). Details are in the privacy policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use BlueAtlas™ to upload unlawful content, infringe third-party rights, or attempt to disrupt the service (reverse engineering, bulk data scraping, circumventing usage limits).

7. Limitation of liability

BlueAtlas™ is a digital dive logbook. It does not replace certified dive training, a homologated dive computer, or medical advice from a hyperbaric physician. The editor cannot be held liable for diving decisions made on the basis of information displayed by the app, nor for service interruptions or errors, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

8. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account in case of clear violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings; the full procedure, including without access to the app, is on the Delete your account page. See retention terms in the privacy policy.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, absent an amicable resolution, the competent courts will be those of the editor's registered location, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions applicable in your place of residence.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms over time. The last-updated date is shown at the top of the page. For any substantial change affecting the subscription, we will notify you by email before it takes effect.
